Lin Xiaoman, a single girl, spent half a year saving money to turn her balcony into a sunroom so she could bring her grandma from the countryside to live with her. But just after finishing, she was anonymously reported for "illegal construction". The property management came to demolish it and even stopped her grandma from entering the building. Furious and wronged, Lin suddenly remembered she had just been hired as the community's water and electricity operation consultant—she cut off the whole building's utilities not out of temper, but to lure the "anonymous reporter" out: she found the water and electricity meters had been tampered with, and the reporter was actually the property manager who feared being exposed for embezzling utility funds! Behind the "illegal construction report" lies a scheme, and Lin's act of cutting utilities is both her way to stand up for her grandma and the key to uncovering the truth.
