Hao Yun, a dessert shop owner, struggles to keep her late grandmother's "orange candy recipe" alive, only to face closure due to a rent hike. Then, Shi Jia, her childhood sweetheart who vanished for ten years, suddenly reappears—once he missed their "sell orange candy together" promise because of a car accident, now he's a sharp lawyer. To save Hao Yun's shop, Shi Jia pretends to be her "domineering boyfriend" to deal with the harsh landlord. But as they grow closer, a yellowed candy wrapper with an unsent love letter is found. Shi Jia, eyes red, pulls out freshly made orange candy: "I spent ten years learning to make your favorite flavor. This time, I won't miss out." When the sweet scent of orange candy mixes with their first kiss, all the missed moments become the sweetest foreshadowing.
