Su Wan, a fleeing little doctor, picks up the blind young master Xie Zhao on a rainy night. She thinks he's a vulnerable nobleman needing care, but accidentally uncovers his secret hidden behind dark glasses—he is the imperial uncle framed and imprisoned by enemies. He seems gentle and harmless on the surface, but is actually secretly plotting revenge. When Su Wan tries to quietly stay away from the mess, Xie Zhao suddenly pins her against the wall, his fingertips brushing her lips as he chuckles: "Wanwan, you saved me, and now you want to leave just like that?" Between the bond of saving his life and the step-by-step scheming, is this "picked-up fate" her redemption for him, or his trap waiting for her to fall into?
