Lin Que, son of the national defense general, was framed by a powerful minister, leading to the execution of his entire family and his imprisonment in death row. On the eve of his execution, he accidentally obtained a mysterious sword manual and a rusty knife, which allowed him to fight his way out of the prison. While investigating the truth behind his family's massacre, he was drawn into the court's power struggles—the powerful minister set a deadly trap for him, his once-engaged princess wanted to use him to overthrow political enemies, and his former comrade even betrayed him. Lin Que broke through obstacles with his knife and stood firm with his strategy, rising from a prisoner to the Regent step by step. However, he discovered that the mastermind behind his family's tragedy was actually his most trusted "savior"?
