Lin Shen (played by Feng Mingchao), a guardian of the galaxy, descends to earth to repair the cracked star orbit and accidentally breaks into Su Wan's (played by Tan Wenwen) "Broken Dream Studio"—where what's collected isn't dreams, but unspoken regrets of humans. When Lin Shen's star power accidentally awakens Su Wan's sealed past-life memories, they are shocked to find: the star that fell to earth to save Lin Shen years ago was Su Wan herself, and the "broken dream that can fix the galaxy" Lin Shen has been searching for is exactly Su Wan's thousand-year-old wish—to say goodbye to him properly. A mutual redemption across the galaxy and dreams begins.
