Lin Wan, a ruthless investment banking executive on the brink of collapse from long-term pressure, accidentally swaps souls with Chen Mo, a “slacker” who runs a neighborhood noodle shop. She’s forced to deal with penny-pinching regulars and caring for Chen Mo’s sick mother in his body, while Chen Mo faces cutthroat office politics and the burden of her late father’s unfulfilled wishes in hers. From mutual disdain to forced empathy, they uncover the secrets behind each other’s labels—Chen Mo’s “laziness” is to protect his mother’s last days, and Lin Wan’s “ toughness” is to complete her father’s unfinished business. As the seven-day swap deadline approaches, can they get their lives back, or will they hesitate to let go of this “misplaced” understanding?
