Shen Zhaozhao, an ancient book restorer hidden in an old alley, lives a simple life with her grandmother's old bookstore. Until Gu Shiyan, a returning architect, suddenly appears—he is the "little crybaby" she saved at seven, and the "old friend" she thought she'd never see again. But their reunion reveals Gu with his rumored fiancée, and she learns he's back to acquire the old alley for a commercial renovation. Torn between the old days etched in her bones and her grandmother's last wish to protect the alley, Shen must face the feelings she's hidden for twenty years. Is Gu's "approach" obsession... or a scheme?
