Cellist Sheng Chen hides in an old-town building to escape her stage fright, only to find her neighbor is Ma Yiyan—a retired boxer nicknamed "the ferocious hound", whose gruff temper and training roars constantly shatter her cello notes. From yelling through doors to passing hot congee at midnight, Sheng Chen discovers the "hound" secretly cares for orphanage kids, while Ma Yiyan learns her rose-colored bow hides wounds sharper than a boxing ring.
