Beauty CEO Lin Wan just returned to take charge of Lin's Group, only to face business traps and anonymous threats. Her grandfather forces a 'cheeky ex-special forces soldier' Shen Chuan as her bodyguard. Lin Wan finds him too casual and tries to fire him repeatedly, but every time danger strikes, Shen Chuan becomes her 'savior'—exposing the partner's fake contract, blocking a runaway truck, even taking a knife for her in a kidnapping. As they grow closer, Lin Wan discovers a clue-filled notebook under Shen Chuan's playfulness—his real reason for approaching her is linked to a 'mysterious death' in Lin's Group ten years ago... From bickering to hidden affection, in this 'protection game,' is it the bodyguard who tames the CEO's sharpness, or the CEO who melts the bodyguard's facade?
