Meng Po Sanqi, guardian of the Underworld's Lethe River, is banished to the mortal world after spilling the Lethe Water by accident. She reincarnates as Xiao Tang, a naive and sweet chef at the "Fu Lai Snack Shop" in a food street. Her "Calming Soup" unexpectedly helps customers recall past-life regrets, attracting Gu Shiyan—a腹黑 CEO who was a general she missed in his past life—and Lin Heng—a gentle TCM doctor who was her pen pal ghost in the Underworld. But as rumors of her "past-life-revealing soup" spread, a mysterious man in black starts stalking her: the King of Hell fears she'll regain her memory and disrupt the cycle of reincarnation, so he's sending someone to drag her back! While healing others with food, Xiao Tang navigates her feelings for the two men and evades Underworld pursuit. Will she hold onto the warmth of the mortal world, or be pulled back to the cold Lethe River?
