"Not a Day Without You" follows Qiao Jiale, a dessert shop owner who has run "Sweet Memories"—the shop she co-founded with her missing lover Chen Siche—for three years, making his favorite taro cake daily while clinging to hope. Until a mysterious investor named Chen Mo arrives to acquire the shop. Qiao Jiale refuses to sell, only to spot their couple's ring on Chen Mo's finger. It turns out Chen Siche fled abroad three years ago to pay off her father's debt, lying about his "accidental death" to protect her. Now he's back under a fake identity to help her realize her chain store dream but dares not reveal himself. When the truth comes out, Qiao Jiale faces the "resurrected" lover—forgive his secrecy or let go of her longing? Amidst sweet scents and memories, they rekindle their unfinished love.
