Lin Xiaoman, a cultural relic restorer, accidentally triggers an ancient mirror and witnesses the life of Shen Mingyue, a Republican-era architect—she fell in love with Gu Zhao, a warlord's son, but was forced to separate due to a family marriage and died with regret. When Lin discovers she looks identical to Shen and that Gu Heng, a modern archaeologist, is Gu Zhao's reincarnation, she decides to travel through time via the mirror to rewrite Shen's tragedy. However, every intervention uncovers more complicated past-life karma: Will they make up for regrets or repeat the same mistakes? Can they seize their own 'bright moon' in the interweaving of past and present?
