Moon goddess Mingyue falls to the mortal world with amnesia after her guarded Moonlight Stone is stolen, and is taken in by Gu Yunshen, a village doctor. Though sensing her unusual identity, Gu insists on helping her retrieve her memories, only to be drawn into the pursuit of immortal sects—it turns out the Moonlight Stone holds the key to opening the gate between immortals and mortals, and Gu is actually the heavenly warrior who sacrificed himself to shield Mingyue from a celestial tribulation in their past life! When Mingyue regains her divine power, she must make a lifelong choice: return to heaven to guard all beings, or stay in the mortal world to be with her lover.
