Luo Shiqi, an ancient book restorer, stumbles upon an old notebook tinged with osmanthus scent—inside, scribbled words hold a past-life promise: she was once a street-side cook who pledged to marry scholar Liu Runming once he passed the imperial exam. But in that life, he never returned, leaving only a half-broken jade pendant. In this life, she encounters Liu Runming at an antique auction—he looks identical to her past love, but now he’s a cold, unapproachable antique merchant who insists the notebook is a 'forgery' from his family’s collection. When the scent of past-life osmanthus cake drifts into their present-day office, and when the broken jade fits perfectly in their hands, will those time-buried regrets turn into a chance to 'finally meet you' in this life?
