Former firefighter Lin Mo (portrayed by Zhang He) retreated into seclusion after a botched rescue six years ago, making a living by running a small restaurant. When a series of arson cases hit the old town, he unexpectedly reunited with Su Wan (Guan Xin), whom he once wrongfully blamed as a relative of the arson suspect. As clues unfold, Lin Mo realizes the past rescue was no accident, and the current arson cases are closely tied to the old case. Their long-buried misunderstanding and hidden affection gradually surface amid the fire smoke, and this game with fire will become their belated redemption.
