Lin Wan, a cold forensic scientist, is forced to work with her estranged sweet sister Lin Xiaoman after a homicide at Xiaoman’s dessert shop. Xiaoman, holding taro mud crepes to chase suspects and using sugar frosting to reconstruct the crime scene, turns Wan’s “hardcore investigation” into a sweet “sugar-coated deduction.” But as clues unfold, the sisters discover the murderer is linked to their parents’ accident years ago.
