In the 1970s, Jiang Yiqin, reborn as the "most beautiful woman in the factory", marries Cao Junk e, a retired soldier known as "as cold as ice". She expects to spend days warming an iceberg, but her cold-faced husband’s "coldness" is all an act—sneaking to cover her with a quilt at night, hiding her favorite toffees, and his ears turning bright red when caught.
