Lin Xiaoman, a down-and-out pianist, sells her beloved piano to raise money for her mother's surgery and rents a shabby old house in an alley. Her music in the winter nights attracts Gu Shen, the reclusive landlord—her first love who disappeared a decade ago due to a misunderstanding.
