Ye Qinghe, daughter of a Jiangnan tea merchant, faces a sudden tragedy: her father is imprisoned for “adulterating tribute tea,” and his final letter accuses the powerful Gu family in the capital as the mastermind. To clear his name, she disguises herself as a boy and sneaks into the Gu Mansion as a servant—only to meet Gu Zhao, the cold eldest son of the Gu family, who’s secretly investigating his family’s link to the tea case.
