"Summer Under the Clear Sky" follows Shen Wanning (played by Lu Xiangshan), a vibrant swimming team captain at a coastal high school, who stumbles upon Lin Chuan (played by Feng Zizhou), the cold and aloof astronomy club president, secretly feeding a stray cat. They bond over the cat but clash fiercely over the astronomy club occupying the swimming team's training shed. This summer, Shen Wanning fights to win the coastal swimming competition to fulfill her late father's promise, while Lin Chuan hides his fear of water and tries to find the "summer sky star trail" his mother mentioned using an astronomical telescope. When Shen Wanning hits a bottleneck with her breaststroke, Lin Chuan uses star trajectory algorithms to help her adjust her rhythm; when Lin Chuan is mocked for his aquaphobia, Shen Wanning pulls him to the breakwater to watch dolphins leap—under the clear summer sky, a story of courage and reconciliation unfolds, and the stray cat's collar holds a key clue that links their fates...
