In a drought-stricken year, Taohua Village has no harvest. The poverty-stricken Li couple, who can only afford chaff, pick up a cute, doll-like baby. Since the baby arrived, half a bag of rice magically appears on their stove, wild vegetables grow in barren fields, and a dried-up well gushes water again! But rumors spread: 'This baby is a demon, cursing the village!' Villagers wield hoes to drive her away, while Aunt Li hugs the baby and cries, 'She’s our life!' Just as conflict erupts, the baby smiles with dimples, and golden light glows from her fingertips—could she be a little koi from heaven, sent to save the village from disaster?
