32-year-old Lin Wan collapses from career frustration and missing her mother’s final moments—her mom’s last words were about the old comrade she never saw in 1992. A rainstorm sends her back to the 1992 lane, where she meets her young mother Zhou Xiulan (braided hair, picking vegetables) and Chen Mo, her childhood sweetheart who vanished years ago (holding a popsicle, smiling at the alley entrance). While helping her mom find the comrade to mend regrets, she uncovers Chen Mo’s disappearance was linked to her. Just as she thinks she can rewrite fate, a mysterious note warns: “Choose within 7 days”—stay in 1992 to keep her loved ones, or return to the present to face her unfinished life?
