Chen Mo, an overworked office drone, saves an old man collapsed in an alley late at night—only to receive a tattered book filled with messy oracle bone script. The moment he opens it, his phone suddenly displays “Immortality Value +1”, and even the pancake lady downstairs comments, “You smell like a fairy!” But becoming an immortal isn’t easy: the book contains a “Mortal Trial List”: help his lifelong single colleague win over his crush, find a lost cat for a dementia-stricken grandma, and help his failed-entrepreneur best friend pay off debts… Each completion upgrades Chen Mo’s “immortal powers”—but every use turns into a disaster: trying to make his colleague handsome, he accidentally dyes his hair rainbow-colored; trying to find the cat, he attracts a pack of dogs from the entire building! To make matters worse, a mysterious man in Tang-style clothing keeps following him, saying, “You stole our sect’s Immortality Crash Course!” Caught between chaotic urban life and increasingly absurd immortal tasks, can Chen Mo really cultivate a Golden Elixir in the CBD?
