Lin Xiaoman and Gu Yan, who worked on *The Peach Blossom Land* together in high school, parted ways over an unspoken misunderstanding. A decade later, Xiaoman, a struggling stage designer, suddenly gets an offer to design the set for the play *The Curtain Falls*—the investor is Gu Yan, who vanished from her life years ago, and he specifically asks for her.
