Lin Chujiu, a 19-year-old apprentice of a reclusive Feng Shui master, receives half a copy of *Dragon-Seeking Manual* and a bronze compass from his dying grandfather, who warns him repeatedly, “Stay away from wealthy families’ karmic ties.” But when his best friend falls into a coma with only the antidote hidden in the “haunted mansion” of the Ye family in the capital— a mansion with a铜镜 weeping at midnight, blood footprints appearing out of nowhere, and servants dying violently every seven days—he has to take the risk. However, as he unravels the curse, he discovers it’s linked to his parents who went missing a decade ago, and the secret his grandfather kept for half his life is pulling him deeper into a dangerous vortex.
