Lin Ye, a senior high student with poor grades, breaks off with his father (who hopes he gets into a top university) because of his basketball dream. He accidentally meets Chen Mo, a retired coach. To prove that "youthful passion isn't recklessness", he gathers friends labeled as "problem kids" to form a team and challenge the school's defending champion team. Facing his father's sarcasm, the champion team's contempt, and even his teammates' desire to quit under pressure, Lin Ye makes the game-winning three-pointer in the final with a broken wrist——turns out, youthful fervor is never recklessness, but the heat that smashes prejudice, the light that dares to say "no" to mediocrity.
