Lin Chuyi, a descendant of a reclusive medical clan, descends the mountain to "save three people" as instructed by her grandfather's last wish. She stumbles upon Chen Qingan, a medicinal herb merchant, using substandard herbs that have killed someone. She cures the victim with her family's acupuncture technique, only to be framed by Chen for "using witchcraft to harm people," which further uncovers a conspiracy by powerful figures to monopolize the clan's secret recipes. When the third "mission of saving" targets Chen's terminally ill daughter, Lin Chuyi must choose between resentment and medical ethics—saving her would be a betrayal of her grandfather? Not saving would mean deviating from her original intention?
