Nan Ye, a wilderness survival blogger nicknamed "Wild at Heart" for her rough-and-tumble ways, ventures into the rainforest alone to film a documentary—hoping to find clues about her missing grandfather. But she crosses paths with Lu Xingyao, a cold, perfectionist astrophotographer there to capture the "Star Trail Waterfall". Nan Ye’s "forage-and-cook" style clashes with Lu’s "sterile meal prep", while Lu’s "star chart navigation" repeatedly saves Nan Ye from trouble. Trapped in a cave during a rainstorm, her grandfather’s old diary reveals a secret: Lu was saved by her grandfather as a child, and the "Star Trail Waterfall" is actually a firefly forest her grandfather planted for her. As the "wild girl’s" warmth melts the "star-catcher’s" coldness, can they find their lost "starlight" deep in the rainforest?
