Zeng Hui, an ordinary office worker, has his life shattered when the mysterious and icy Deng Lingshu shows up, accusing him of being the "Godslayer"—the one who must destroy the "God" that manipulates human fate. Yet Deng Lingshu's identity is torn: she is both the "enforcer" sent by "God" to monitor him and his past-life lover, whose relationship was destroyed by "God". As Zeng Hui gets closer to the truth about "God", he discovers the so-called "God" is actually... And Deng Lingshu's choice will determine whether they stand together to slay God even at the cost of their lives, or face each other as enemies on opposite sides of fate.
