Shi Yan, a 'time fixer', is tasked with correcting Su Liwo's 'death node'—she will die in an accident on her 24th birthday. To get close, he disguises as a neighbor tenant, but falls for her during daily life: her dimple smile comes with warm milk, she runs half a street in rain to deliver drafts, even leaving the door open touches his heart. Yet every fate change triggers 'time backlash'—Su Liwo forgets him entirely. On the 7th backtrack, seeing Su Liwo running with a cake saying 'I seem to have met you', Shi Yan realizes: instead of fixing time, loving her well in limited moments matters more.
