Lin Wan, a folklore postgraduate, teams up with cultural relic restorer Chen Mo to restore a Qing Dynasty sacrificial vessel engraved with double-pupil patterns, aiming to unravel the double-pupil weird legend passed down in her family. On the night after the restoration began, cold fog suddenly engulfed the lab, eerie double pupils appeared on the wall, and Chen Mo's surveillance footage caught him kneeling and worshipping the empty air at midnight. Tracing the hidden patterns on the vessel, they uncovered a century-old double-pupil sacrifice tragedy: the priest chosen for the sacrifice had a double-pupil fate, and his lingering resentment turned into a curse. Even more shocking, there were exactly the same double pupils in Lin Wan's own eyes.
