Na Xin, a little maid from the Imperial Kitchen, became the "unluckiest girl" in the palace after accidentally hitting Emperor Kang Lingxiao with osmanthus cake. But instead of being punished, she keeps encountering "lucky things": a guard hands her a shield when bullied by the imperial concubine, a jar of fine white jade ointment appears under her pillow after she burns her hand, and the pastries she secretly sends to the old man in the cold palace always "avoid inspection". Until one night, she catches Kang Lingxiao staring at a portrait of "a little maid saving a little eunuch" and hears his whisper: "The half piece of osmanthus cake you gave me three years ago—I've remembered it ever since." It turns out the "little eunuch" was the emperor on a private visit, and this man above ten thousand people has long hidden her as the only one in his heart.
