Lin Xiaoman, who runs an old bookstore at the end of an alley, draws a moon on the glass every night—it’s her way of missing her late grandmother. Until the cold architect Cheng Yan arrives with a plan to demolish the alley, only to be struck by the moonlight on the glass. Torn between his must-push project and the light he wants to protect, Cheng secretly repairs the rain-damaged glass for Xiaoman, while Xiaoman discovers the softness hidden under the “cold-blooded designer’s” suit. When the demolition notice comes, can they save the alley’s moonlight together? A mutual redemption about “hiding tenderness” unfolds slowly in the warm glow of the old bookstore.
