Lin Suisui is known as the "living lucky koi" in her neighborhood—she passes exams by the narrowest margin, always wins free milk tea refills, and even gets her lost phone back on its own. That is, until she meets Gu Shiyan—a "bad luck magnet" who steps on broken milk tea cups everywhere he goes and always runs into elevator maintenance. What's weirder? Whenever they're together, Suisui's luck "crashes"! A rental mix-up forces them to live together, and Suisui accidentally discovers: Gu Shiyan is the little boy she saved as a child, and his bad luck all these years has actually been shielding her from the lingering disaster from back then... When the "lucky koi体质" meets the "bad luck insulator", is it fate's trick or a foreshadowing of a long-awaited reunion?
