Lin Yang, a penniless young man working odd jobs in the antique market, gains the clairvoyant ability to see the "time veins" in artifacts after accidentally breaking an antique. He makes his first pot of gold by picking up a Song Dynasty Ru kiln tea bowl, but incurs the jealousy of Zhou Xian, an old fox in the antique trade. Zhou sets a trap, tricking Lin into buying a batch of "Qing Dynasty official kiln" fakes. At a critical moment, Lin discovers a real Tang Dynasty mirror left by Su Xiao's (an orphan selling replicas) grandfather in the crate—he not only exposes Zhou's scam but also helps Su raise money for her grandfather's surgery. Teaming up, they run an "antique wholesale" business using clairvoyance, fighting against Zhou's revenge while sticking to their principles in the chaotic market. In the end, they not only make a fortune but also uncover the truth about Su's grandfather being cheated by Zhou years ago...
