Chen Mo, an office worker, just moved into a new shared apartment after a breakup. One late night, he came home from overtime and opened the door—only to find Lin Xia, his ex-girlfriend who vanished without a word three years ago, wrapped in his bathrobe, squatting on the floor feeding his cat. It turns out Lin Xia is the new roommate the landlord squeezed in, forcing them to live under the same roof. Chen Mo, still holding unspoken old feelings, presses her for the truth about her sudden departure back then, but Lin Xia dodges the question with vague excuses. Meanwhile, an unsent hospital diagnosis sits in Lin Xia's phone. As old love collides with the tense cohabitation, will the secret buried in time slowly come to light amid their daily "bickering"?
