Lin Shen, a once-acclaimed surgeon who lost his license over a medical dispute, has lived in seclusion for three years to atone for his daughter Xiaotang. His distraction during an operation years ago killed his wife and left Xiaotang with a congenital heart disease. When Xiaotang’s condition suddenly deteriorates—requiring a 'ventricular reconstruction surgery' that has only succeeded three times globally—Lin Shen is forced back to the operating table. Facing a ticking clock for his daughter’s life, skepticism from former colleagues, unforeseen surgical complications, and the resurfacing of hidden truths from the old dispute—can he use his 'peak surgical skills' to save both his daughter and his dignity as a doctor?
