White-collar worker Lin Wan has been stalked by a mysterious stranger for days. Her roommate Gu Ye suddenly becomes overly protective, ranting that someone is plotting to kill her. Lin dismisses his odd behavior as overanxious nonsense, until she finds old case files and faded group photos under his bed. She then discovers the "delusional conspiracy" he's been talking about is actually a three-year-long investigation into the car accident that erased her memory. Gu Ye has been secretly tracking the truth all along, determined to atone for his past mistake and keep her safe at all costs.
