Lin Xiaoman, a violin prodigy from the Central Conservatory of Music, takes a secret job at a "Yin Affairs Agency"—composing "Yin Music" for a ghost wedding—to raise money for her mother's surgery. During her first practice at the funeral parlor, her violin suddenly emits a female voice not in the score. Following the clue, she finds the diary of Zhou Wanning, a senior who was expelled ten years ago for "composing Yin Music" and eventually committed suicide. It turns out Zhou was forced by the agency's boss to create evil music that "summons souls" and died wrongfully; now she's attached to Xiaoman's violin, demanding the truth. Between the symphony orchestra's final interview and the senior's revenge plea, Xiaoman struggles between her dream and the underworld's entanglement. Little does she know—she's already a pawn in a conspiracy to "connect the living and dead with music," and the most terrifying truth lies in the Yin Music she practices daily...
