Bai Su, a reclusive fox fairy, closed her heart after a catastrophe a century ago, but was forced out by the异象 of hundreds of ghosts wandering the town. Gu Zhao, the newly appointed head of the Ghost-Suppressing Department, has hated demons since childhood, yet he has to team up with Bai Su to investigate—missing children, resurfaced old grudges, and ghostly aura even the department can’t contain.
