Lin Chuan, a sweet shop owner, is mistakenly labeled a 'retired gang boss' after a见义勇为 act was filmed by passersby. His quiet life spirals into chaos—gangsters come to 'pay respects', reporter Su Xiao gets close to him for an exclusive story, and even an old 'enemy' seeks revenge. While scrambling to explain 'I just sell cakes', Lin Chuan has to handle absurd situations: helping gangsters with homework, hiding his fear of cockroaches from Su Xiao, and secretly turning the 'gang members' into his shop volunteers... As the misunderstanding grows, can he uncover the truth and get back to his gentle, cute identity as a cake shop owner?
