Deaf-mute painter Su Wan lives in seclusion in a Jiangnan town, using her brush to depict "spring hues" no one understands—that’s the secret she hides in silence. Lin Shen, a returning music producer, escapes to the town due to creative block and rents the old house next door, only to be struck by the "silent spring" in Su’s canvases. A cat’s accident breaks their quiet: Lin ruins Su’s *Spring Return*, a painting dedicated to her late mother. To make amends, he learns sign language; Su responds to his demo with her paintings. Just as Lin finally dares to reach for her "spring", Su vanishes, leaving an unfinished painting—the drowning boy in it is Lin’s missing brother, and Su lost her hearing saving him ten years ago...
