Returned architect Wan Linzhou is tasked with demolishing the old sugar water shop in Xia Tang Alley, only to run into Shen Qing, the sweet shop owner who's risking everything to protect her grandma's legacy. Her bowl of osmanthus taro balls unlocks his sealed 15-year-old childhood—turns out Wan was a left-behind kid in the alley, and it was Shen Qing's grandma's sugar water that got him through loneliness. When the demolition plan clashes with old memories, when the cold 'alley destroyer' falls for the desperate 'alley guardian', how will they hold onto the full-score sweetness of love that's written with their names, amidst steel and concrete?
