Lin Xiaoman, an intern screenwriter nicknamed "Kitten" for her "daydreaming", accidentally becomes the life assistant of Lu Zhaoming, a cold A-list actor known as the "unreachable moon", to help her best friend pursue him. While scheming to match the two, she's touched by Lu's hidden warmth—he secretly feeds stray cats on set, stays up late revising her script's "kitten catching the moon on the roof" scene. But when her friend's confession fails, Xiaoman discovers a ten-year-old crayon drawing in Lu's drawer: a little girl with pigtails holding a net, saying to a hurt boy, "I'll catch the moon for you"—it's her. Turns out the "moon" has been waiting for the "kitten" to catch him all along.
