Li Erniu, a young farmer in a poor mountain village, supports his seriously ill mother by growing greenhouse vegetables. When he finds his grandfather's "Ancient Four-Season Cultivation Recipe" to earn medical fees, Su Xiaotang, a female entrepreneur here for demolition talks, accuses him of "infringement"—it turns out Su's father stole the recipe years ago and now wants to monopolize the patent to demolish the village for a factory. To protect his home and mother, Erniu is forced to "cooperate with Su to verify the recipe". They go from being enemies to falling for each other, while fighting against forced demolition together. Is the little farmer's spring the hope of keeping his home, or the light that breaks into his life?
