Su Xiaotang, an intern journalist during graduation season, stumbles into the world of Lin Shen—the guardian of an old popsicle factory—while working on her feature story "The Vanishing Old Popsicle Factory." Lin, a man who keeps others at arm's length, stubbornly defends the memory-filled factory against developers to fulfill his father's last wish. But when Su uncovers handwritten messages from old customers and an old photo of her childhood self eating popsicles, she learns that it was Lin's father who saved her from heatstroke years ago. Worse, the developer behind the demolition is her mother, who has hidden this truth for years. In the midsummer breeze, what they're guarding isn't just the factory, but the reconciliation of two generations and the unspoken love.
