Lin Zirong disguises herself as a naive new employee to infiltrate Zhao's Group, aiming to gather evidence against the icy CEO Zhao Guanyu for her wrongfully dismissed best friend. However, every step of her "scheme" has long been seen through by Zhao—instead of exposing her, he intentionally creates "coincidences": a warm cocoa during overtime, subtle guidance in meetings, and even quietly covering for her when she nearly blows her cover. Just as Lin thinks she's about to succeed, Zhao hands over the evidence she wants: "Trade this for a 'fake-turned-real' relationship with me." It turns out, this seemingly cold CEO has long noticed her, the girl with fire in her eyes, and her so-called "plan" is just the start of their mutual pursuit.
