Lin Wanxing, a fireworks designer, returns to her hometown to prepare the "Return to Ruins" fireworks show for her late grandmother's last wish, only to reunite with Lu Jingshen, a firefighter who left without a word seven years ago—they had agreed to commit to each other under fireworks that night, but Lu vanished. Now Lu is the safety director for the show. Old love reignites, but a misunderstanding lingers: Lin doesn’t know Lu missed the date to put out a warehouse fire (and got trauma); Lu doesn’t know Lin has woven her longing into every fireworks design over the years. When "Return to Ruins" blooms in the sky, will the seven-year truth be revealed? Can they rekindle their love?
