In the late 1990s, Lin Ye, a small-town youth, opened an unlicensed "internet cafe" in a rental house to raise tuition for his sister. He was chased by urban management for operating without a license and threatened with red paint by competitors. When he was desperate, Su Xiao, a girl from the neighboring audio-visual store, secretly gave him a ticket to an internet entrepreneurship forum—a crack in fate. He went all in on game agency with his first pot of gold from the cafe, only to have his partner run away with all the funds, even taking his sister's life-saving money. Just as he stood by the river in despair, Su Xiao ran over holding a passbook with "I believe in you" written on it... From 5 computers to a hundred-billion business empire, he stepped through the wild thorns of the era, but never forgot the boy who squatted outside the internet cafe eating instant noodles and said, "I want my sister to go to college."
