Lin Xiaoman, an intern nurse in the emergency department, suddenly awakens a "psychic eye"—she can see the "death countdown" on people's foreheads. She uses this ability to save a dying old man, only to be confronted by the mysterious "Time Pawnshop": "You stole power not meant for mortals. Find three 'survivors with tampered fates' in 7 days, or your beloved grandma will pay your debt." As she follows the clues, she discovers her parents' "accidental death" was actually a murder by the organization, and her psychic eye is the "countermeasure key" her parents left her with their lives. Torn between her grandma's safety and uncovering her parents' truth, Lin Xiaoman has no choice but to step into this life-and-death game within a game.
